Hello all! I promised I would share some of my favorite elements from today's Halloween Party. Boy, was it crazy! Wrangling all 5 of my kiddos into wearing costumes, playing games, trying new foods and interacting with peers in other class is some hard work! But the smiles make it all worth it.
Monster dirt cups!
A simple, exciting treat for the kids! Some of my kiddos was even afraid to pick one up... woops!
Vanilla Pudding
Green Food Coloring
Oreos
Gummy Worms
Remove pudding from pudding cups and put in a large bowl. Clean out pudding cups and draw on spooky faces with a sharpee. Add green food coloring till your hearts content, stick in some gummy worms, crush up some oreos and throw em on top!

Owl Cupcakes!
This is a tough one to attempt as a whole with a classroom. I run my parties as stations so it is usually 1:1 for tough cooking/ crafts like this. I also have all the ingredients ready to go in front of the child to decrease wait time! They got to decide if they wanted to eat now or bring home :)
Chocolate Cupcakes
Chocolate Frosting
Double Stuff Oreos (Split the oreos, cut the non frosting side in half)
Brown and Orange M&Ms
Pretty self explanatory!

Mummy Bowling!
Had my eye on this baby in Target since the beginning of the season, hoping it would go on sale. Night before Halloween and I just couldn't wait any longer and glad I didn't! It was a hit! Kids loved this station and kept requesting to go back! I also like how it is not overly Halloween themed and can be used as future rewards or at future parties!

Snack table!
So many treats! Using a table cloth always builds the special activity excitement for my kids! My paras are so great and provided many of the treats. We also do cooking with our speech pathologist on thursday and we made the chex mix for the party. I love tying in the weeks academics to a Friday special activity.

The Classic
I couldn't resist!
Many of my verbal kids said they had never done this before, so it was quickly added to my Halloween stations. The kids loved it and I loved having the powdered donuts. I love sending the kids home all messy- means they had a good day!
My non eater had fun running through the donuts like an obstacle course, he had powder all over!
Donut on a string ! I couldn't resist!

My first class party this year was an overall success! The kids had a blast and went home with heavy backpacks full of goodies! How was your class Halloween party!?
